Site Care Partner
The interview started with a video recorded interview where I had to answer some open questions within a 2-minute time limit. If I passed that, the next step was a Teams interview in English with several managers. I didn't really like the video interview part, it felt really awkward, and it's kind of weird not knowing who will be watching it. The interview with the managers felt super rushed, like they were actively trying to find reasons to reject me with everything they said.

Postdoctoral Fellow
The interview process involved a 30-minute phone screening with a talent acquisition specialist, followed by a video interview with lead scientists to discuss research experience, skills, and career goals. The final stage was an on-site interview with the team, which included a presentation of your previous work.

MBA Intern
I had a really disappointing time interviewing for Pfizer’s M&A summer internship. The people interviewing me seemed unfriendly and not really into it, like it was a chore for them instead of a chance to get to know each other. They didn't try to make me feel comfortable or connect with me personally, and it just felt cold and business-like the whole time. This was pretty surprising and concerning because Pfizer is a healthcare company, and you'd think empathy, curiosity, and connecting with people would be important. The lack of basic engagement made it hard to get excited about the job or the team, and it just gave a bad impression of the whole candidate experience.

Associate Scientist
So I had this interview with Pfizer for the Ligand Binding Assay team, and it was a panel interview. After my second interview, they told me I was 'passionate and enthusiastic' and moving forward, so I was expecting a chat about the role and how I'd fit in. But, honestly, the panel interview felt more like an interrogation. They went through my resume word by word, drilling down on tiny details instead of talking about the job, the team, or how my skills would be useful, until I had to ask them questions. There wasn't much chance for real conversation or to show I knew more than what was written down. It felt like they were just trying to get info, not really see if I was a good fit. And after it all, I asked for feedback, but got nothing back, which was pretty unprofessional considering how much time I put into it. If you're interviewing with them, be ready for really strict questioning and not much talk about career growth, what they expect, or the team vibe.
- They ask about everything written on your resume, word for word.
- They will question you in detail about your background, experience, and education.
