Healthcare Representative
So far, I've only made it through the first two rounds. After applying, a general regional recruiter will email you to set up a virtual interview. This interview has 12 situational and behavioral questions you answer using a virtual app. Based on my experience, this whole process can take 2 to 10 weeks. You usually have 3 minutes to answer each question, with a 30-second prep time. If you pass that, the local regional manager will call you for a phone interview. It's similar to the virtual one, but the manager might ask you to go over your resume with them and explain how your experience fits the job, or they might ask you the same questions as the virtual interview, but based on personal experiences or your resume. In my experience, the interviewers have been respectful, transparent, and professional. Be ready to impress.
- All questions use the STAR method: Situation, Task, Action, Response. Can you start by telling us about your previous work experience?
- What makes you want to be a Professional Healthcare Representative?
- Describe a situation where you used a creative approach.

So, I had 3 interviews in total. The first one was a 25-minute phone screen with the District Business Manager. Then, about two weeks later, I had a face-to-face interview, over lunch, with the District Business Manager and another manager. The week after that, I interviewed with the Regional Sales Manager. I got the verbal offer a week and a half later, and the written one three days after that. Definitely get ready, 'cause this industry is tough and competitive. They'll ask you a bunch of behavioral questions. Make sure you have stories about how their drugs helped someone, or even their OTC stuff like Advil. Your brag book is super important to show your success.

Got my application in and they got back to me about 2-3 weeks later. The first interview was a HireVue video thing with some situational questions, you gotta practice those since you only get one shot. Then I had a phone interview with the hiring manager where we went over my resume and they asked more situational questions. After that, it was an in-person meeting with the hiring manager for even more situational questions. The last interview was a phone call with the regional manager, we talked through my resume again and they threw a few more situational questions my way. Definitely ask for the job! It was a good experience overall, took about 2 months from start to finish.
