Behavioral Presentation

I had a phone interview with two hiring managers where they asked about my background. They called me the next day to invite me for an onsite interview, which was scheduled for about a month later. The onsite interview lasted all day. It began with a 30-minute presentation, followed by a series of interviews with various team members. I believe I met with 10 or more people. Despite being a long day, it was a positive experience. Everyone was friendly, and some asked tougher questions than others. Ultimately, I think they offered the position to someone with more industry experience.

Behavioral Technical

I applied online and then HR reached out to schedule a tele-conference panel interview with three people, including the hiring manager. Mostly resume-based questions and some behavioral ones from the hiring manager. Two weeks later, I got an email to schedule an in-person interview. A few days before that, the hiring manager called and suggested changing the planned 1:1 interviews with four people into one 1.5-hour panel interview, which I agreed to. The in-person interview didn't go well: they didn't even offer water after I drove 1.5 hours to their office. I was hit with a lot of different behavioral questions, which I found pointless and irrelevant to the job, as I believe hiring should focus on capability, not just acting. HR emailed me two weeks after that to say the position was filled internally. Total waste of my time.

Behavioral Other

Pfizer's interview process began with a general info session for about ten students. They presented the program and took questions, but there was no individual interaction. We were told we'd hear back the following week about interview selection, though I had to follow up multiple times to get a response. My actual interview was with someone who seemed unprepared, stating she'd just returned from vacation. She asked me to introduce myself and then remained silent unless I prompted her with questions about her or the job. It was a poor experience, especially given the interviewer's lack of preparation and the unclear process description for first-year law students seeking this non-traditional role.
