Coding Technical Behavioral

It was an oncampus offer. The hiring process had three stages. First was an online assessment (OA) done at my own place. Then, there was a technical interview that went for over 50 minutes. It was completely based on my resume, covering DSA, and core subjects like DBMS, CN, OOPS, and OS. Finally, the HR interview was super chill and quick, just asking the usual expected stuff.

Presentation Behavioral

The interview was structured as a presentation of a practical activity, which was part of the internship selection process. However, the way the interview was conducted negatively affected the overall experience. The interviewer seemed rushed during the presentation, adopting an unwelcoming and sometimes rude attitude. The questions were asked formulaically, without encouraging dialogue or deeper discussion, making it hard to have a productive conversation. Given that job interviews are already nerve-wracking, especially for interns, the lack of tact and empathy created an uncomfortable environment. The absence of a more human and attentive approach not only impacted the candidate's experience but also their ability to fully showcase their skills and knowledge. A more respectful and collaborative setting could have led to a fairer and more effective evaluation. Overall, the experience was negative, not because of the activity itself, but due to how the process was managed.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process at PepsiCo is pretty structured and professional, very practical too. They focus more on real business problems instead of theoretical stuff. Usually, it starts with an HR screening, then you move to technical and hiring manager rounds. They want to see how well you know FP&A basics, understand P&L, forecasting, variance analysis, and how you work with other teams. They really care about clear thinking, solving problems in a structured way, and being able to explain financial stuff to people who aren't in finance. It's a tough but fair interview, designed to see if you can actually act like a business finance partner in a fast-paced FMCG company.

Confirmed questions2 questions

  • Tell me about yourself and what measures will you take to cut down the expenses.
