First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PepsiCo.
Revenue Manager
Started with a 30 min recruiter call, then did a 3 hour long behavioral assessment. Had a 1 hour interview with the hiring manager and was told there were three more rounds after that. The interviews were not hard, but they took a lot of time.
- Can you share an instance where you were responsible for leading a project?
Sales Manager
I was contacted by a Pepsico HR rep from Mexico. We had a quick phone call, where she was very complimentary. In under 30 minutes, I heard back that I'd be speaking with the recruiter in Brazil, who handled all Sales Manager recruitments. The interview was set for the next day. I interviewed with the Brazilian recruiter, the conversation went really well, more compliments, and it was clear I was a good fit. Later that same day, I got word from the Mexican rep that I'd been approved for the final stage with the manager. After that, it all went downhill. I waited over a month to schedule it. Then, on a Saturday night, I got a message saying the process was in its final phase and I wouldn't be interviewing anymore... total disregard.
- Questions focused heavily on knowledge of sales routines
Sales Manager
I applied through my schools career fair and went to their interest meeting the day before the on campus interviews. The next day, I had my on campus interview, which was pretty basic. Then I was selected for the second round of interviews and flown to Orlando Florida, where I interviewed with over 100 other students in a hotel. There were 4 different interviews conducted.
