Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PepsiCo.
Financial Analyst
They started with a recruiter call, then asked for a CV walkthrough, followed by behavioral questions such as how you'd approach a revenue decrease. After that, they moved on to a technical screen where they asked about new product introductions.
- What is your approach if the company launches a new product?
Finance Analyst
The interview experience was positive, and it's a good company where the interviewers were respectful. I would definitely recommend it. While the salaries offered are not exceptionally high, they are still acceptable. Interestingly, they didn't ask any finance-related questions, focusing instead on personal aspects.
- Tell me about your understanding of this company.
Finance Associate
I applied through the MBA rotational program, and this particular opportunity came up via a diversity conference. There were two total rounds. The first was a preliminary phone call before the diversity fair. Then, about a month later, I had the full interview, which included two 45-minute interviews. One of those was all behavioral questions, and the other was a financial case study where I had to show I understood how financial statements work and be ready for some mental math. Beyond basic technical knowledge, it wasn't too hard.
- Why Pepsi?
- What's your favorite Pepsi product?
- Tell me about a time you had to make a decision without having all the information.
