The interview was structured as a presentation of a practical activity, which was part of the internship selection process. However, the way the interview was conducted negatively affected the overall experience. The interviewer seemed rushed during the presentation, adopting an unwelcoming and sometimes rude attitude. The questions were asked formulaically, without encouraging dialogue or deeper discussion, making it hard to have a productive conversation. Given that job interviews are already nerve-wracking, especially for interns, the lack of tact and empathy created an uncomfortable environment. The absence of a more human and attentive approach not only impacted the candidate's experience but also their ability to fully showcase their skills and knowledge. A more respectful and collaborative setting could have led to a fairer and more effective evaluation. Overall, the experience was negative, not because of the activity itself, but due to how the process was managed.

First, I submitted my resume and cover letter through the website's online portal. Then, I got a notification for an interview prep zoom call with all the other first-round internship applicants. After that, I had a 30-minute interview with an HR representative, which was all behavioral questions. Lastly, I accepted the role and had an interview with the onsite managers.

I had a phone call and then an interview. The interview was okay and the application process felt pretty standard. It was a bit weird though, because the job description didn't really match the questions they asked. I didn't get the job, which is fine, but the interviewer went into a lot of detail about why I wasn't a fit. The thing is, I didn't meet all the qualifications they mentioned in the interview, but my profile seemed to fit the job description really well. I think they need to make their job postings clearer about what they're actually looking for.
