I told them my minimum, but they said they couldn't share compensation details until after the technical interview. A week later, they gave me an offer way below what I said I needed. I still went through with the interview for practice. The technical interview was with a senior person, and it was uncomfortable. They questioned my background dismissively, even asking how I got my last job, which felt undermining. Overall, there was a lack of transparency and respect.
