First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Morrisons.
Marketing Specialist
The interview process was pretty chill and simple, no assignments needed, which is pretty wild for marketing jobs nowadays. They made a quick decision and kept in touch well. I turned down the offer though because they wouldn't be flexible about coming into the office on certain days.

Customer Assistant
The interview process was disorganized, as no one was expecting me when I arrived. After a short wait, a staff member conducted an interview, but they couldn't provide details about the job like pay, hours, or contract duration due to poor planning. Later, I received an automated offer email without any mention of the interview or an apology. To top it off, they scheduled an induction during a time I had explicitly stated I was unavailable. It felt like a waste of time.
- Can you describe a successful team experience and what contributed to its success?
Checkout Assistant
It was a simple interview process, a bit disorganized but the staff were lovely. If you understand retail and the importance of putting the customer first, that's what they want to hear. The interview itself was quite relaxed, but it did feel a bit chaotic because the manager was juggling about four other tasks while interviewing me.
- Can you tell me what customer service means to you?
Online Shopper
It was a group interview with about 10 people. We all introduced ourselves and did some group activities. In pairs, we chose an item and had to advertise it to the interviewers. We also worked in groups on a task to protect an egg from a fall from head-height using only a toilet roll and some straws.
- Can you tell us your availability?
- What are your shirt sizes?
