It was really organized, they had some questions about when you're available, what they're looking for from you and what you can expect from them. Then there were situation questions to see how you'd handle things.

So, there are 5 options for each question and 3 marks for each correct answer. It's negatively marked though, so she is deducted points for each answer she gets wrong. She won't be deducted any marks if she does not attempt the question. Maria is trying to figure out if it is beneficial to guess the answer to a question once she has narrowed down the number of potentially correct answers. A guess is worthwhile if it is a better option than not attempting the question. Assume that once Maria has narrowed down the questions, all remaining answers are equally likely to be correct from Maria’s point of view.

I applied online and was invited to a 4-hour assessment centre with 8 candidates. We started with a paired activity organizing products into groups to see teamwork. Then, individually, we had 5 minutes to present our favorite Morrisons product and explain why it's superior to competitors. Finally, there was a 1-on-1 interview. My interviewer asked about different situations, my reasons for choosing Morrisons, shopping experiences, and some personal, informal questions. The whole thing took about an hour, though timing varied based on interview order. We got a feel for the nightshift role and helped out a bit during other interviews.
