Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Morrisons.
Order Picker
It was a really simple interview. They asked me if I had prior experience in this kind of role and if I knew what the job entailed. Then, they asked some hypothetical customer service scenarios and about my availability.
- What would you do if a customer needed your assistance, yet you were under a tight deadline with a large order to complete in only 10 minutes?
Warehouse Operative
When it comes to the whole interview process for the Key warehouse operative role, if you're going to need people to operate a specific machine and due to the high volume of applications you are not going to consider the applicant to pass the interview process, I would really recommend you to AT LEAST put it in the job description AND NOT assure me that I'm going to be trained on that machine WHEN I CALLED JUST IN CASE TO NOT WASTE BOTH OUR TIME. Put it in the job description at least? And also. Do not suggest people to "get agency work first, to get tons of experience" before applying for that job position?
- No questions were asked as I did not pass the interview process.
Picker and Packer
The interview process was straightforward. I went to customer service, let them know I had an interview, and they contacted the manager. The manager then took me upstairs, and we started the interview. It involved simple questions about myself, teamwork, and handling dissatisfied customers.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- What are your thoughts on teamwork?
- Describe your experience with customer service.
