Business Operations Manager
I had a really positive interview experience with Jerry. The process was well structured, with recruiters checking in regularly and interviewers who were both professional and kind. They made it a point to prioritize the candidate’s questions and interests, which was great. It was one of the most well-run processes I’ve seen. In particular, the recruiter (Alana) took the time to build a personal relationship with candidates, which reflects the company’s values and culture.

Director of Customer Operations and Strategy
My interview journey for the Director of Customer Ops & Strategy position at Jerry was super thorough and genuinely one of the best I've experienced. They really put a lot of thought into hiring for leadership roles, making sure it's a good fit on both sides. The recruiter, Alana, was awesome – so supportive and kept me in the loop the whole time. Her professionalism made everything really smooth. I also got to chat with some execs, even a founder, which was cool and gave me a real feel for the company's vision and culture. It's clear Jerry takes hiring seriously and is all about being upfront. It did take some time, but it showed how intentional they are about finding the right person for their team and culture. Honestly, it was a great experience and made me even more excited about the possibility of joining Jerry.

Product Manager
The interview process was a bit unusual. It started with an initial screen, then a challenging take-home questionnaire with over 30 detailed, multi-part questions. After that, there was an email critique exercise, which didn't seem very related to the role. There were also a couple of one-on-one interviews with exercises. The process concluded with a "creative problem solving interview" with the CEO, which felt uncomfortable. The CEO presented a business problem and, after I proposed solutions, stated that none of my approaches were effective and asked what I would do next, and then again if those subsequent steps also failed.
- How would you tackle problem x, and what would be your next steps if your initial strategy fails? What if those subsequent actions also don't work, what would you do then?
- If your initial approach to solving problem x doesn't work, what would you do next?
- Following up on the previous question, what would you do next?
Intern
The interview process was two-step, starting with a recruiter call and then a call with the recruiting manager. I didn't get to the second round, but the entire process was remote via video call. The recruiter asked about my past experiences from both my education and previous jobs and how they would be beneficial for this role. It felt more casual than formal. At the end of the interview, she mentioned I'd be recommended to the hiring manager for a second interview, but then I got a rejection email a few days later, so I'm unsure what changed. The interview itself was pretty easy and casual, though the next step interview might have been more formal.
- In what ways does your education or prior work experience align with the requirements of the Recruiting Intern position?
