I was offered a job, but then they took it back because I asked too many questions. They never sent an offer letter, and they found it suspicious that I wanted to read the contract. It was a long process and I was really interested, so it felt like a waste of time. The HR person seemed very young, maybe it's just how startups are. They also didn't like that I didn't know where I'd be living, but they wouldn't let me work remotely from where I was living. It felt like an impossible situation, but I guess I dodged a bullet.

I went through the first two stages of the interview process and then had to withdraw my application. Overall, the experience was good. The recruiters were great, especially Alana Xin, who was very friendly, professional, and responsive. The take-home assignment was quite demanding; they estimated 4 hours, but with 7 multi-part questions, it actually took much longer, especially considering quality control and creating a clear summary. I really appreciate Alana and the team for their excellent communication and for making the overall experience positive.

It started with an online assessment and a personality test. Then a behavioral interview. After that, a take-home data science assessment. The online part was easy, but I had to chase the recruiter for a response. The take-home took hours and felt like doing free work. I came up with business ideas and wrote SQL queries for them for hours, and still got rejected.
