The interview process started with a screener, followed by a meeting with the hiring manager. Then there was a case study panel where I had to create and present a deck to 3 panel members, which wasn't a hypothetical exercise—the topic was a core job requirement. After that, I met with a cross-functional team member. The final stage was with digital leadership, including the CTO/CPO and SVP Product.

The interview involved three main parts: first, an initial chat about your experience. second, a big task where you had to come up with and execute an idea. third, a final meeting to go over the task you completed. they kept me in the loop about what was next and everything ran smoothly. it wasn't really about 'tell me about a time when' questions, more like a conversation to see how your background fit the job and to learn more about what the company was trying to achieve.

They are only looking for unicorns. Recruiter called me a few weeks after applying. Interviewed the next day. Spoke to a team member a few days later. Had to do a lengthy writing exam. It was crickets for two weeks after. Had to check in for an answer a few times. Was told they went with another candidate but the job posting continues to be renewed.

I went through 4 rounds of interviews for this role, which was actually one more than originally planned. I felt like I connected well with the team and the interviewers. The department head even expressed how much they liked me and thought I would be a great fit during the final round. I followed up twice after the interviews. The first time, I was thanked and told the main interviewer would be in touch. After a few days with no word, I followed up again, but then heard nothing. They completely ghosted me. I invested a significant amount of time and effort into this process, which spanned about six weeks, so I was really disappointed to not even receive a simple notification that they had chosen another candidate. While I'm not angry, the lack of communication was disheartening.
