I went through 2 rounds of interviews. Both rounds were a mix of behavioral and technical questions. It was largely behavioral though, with lots of 'tell me about a time' type questions. The technical questions were pretty conceptual, and one of them involved evaluating the outcome of a code snippet.

You'll be in a big room with other applicants, each at their own table, and there will be two interviewers. The interviewers are actual technicians who work there and could be your future coworkers. If you do well, you'll get a second interview where they'll pick who they want, and then you'll get a call within a week to schedule your orientation.

Technical Coding System Design
This was a neutral experience despite being a frustrated candidate. It started with an HR screening call, followed by an online test with 21 questions covering SQL, Python, and GCP. The onsite round involved managers in a drive format. They expect a highly experienced candidate to perform a task like writing SQL to convert a JSON column into a two-column table (key to column, value to row values). They have a question bank. Since it's a hands-on role, they mentioned needing someone to guide the team. It seemed like they are forming a team to get a project from the US to make their seniors happy. They have more than ten positions to fill. This is within the D&T Data Analytics department. Managers hired as friends are now hiring architects, possibly to cover themselves. Most managers were new to the company, with only about 2 years of experience, coming from fintech backgrounds.

The interview process started with a coding round featuring 30 MCQs on topics like OS, security, and web dev, followed by 2 easy/medium coding questions. Then there was a technical interview where I had to explain my projects and answer cross-questions, along with some medium-level SQL questions about execution order, case, and window functions. Finally, a leadership interview included general HR and behavioral questions.
