After submitting my online application, I had a phone screening. Then, I went through a personal interview that consisted of only behavioral questions. There were 7 interviewers in person, and they all had behavioral questions pre-printed, which felt like an interrogation rather than an interview. They took notes on my answers. It was disappointing that only 2 out of the 7 interviewers asked about my background, experience, goals, and interest in GM. They were also vague about the role and its responsibilities.

So the interview process for this role was pretty standard. First, there was a 1-on-1 in-person chat where they mostly asked behavioral questions. Before that, I had to attend this mandatory info session, which was a bit of a drag. Then, the second round was pretty much the same as the first, just with behavioral questions again. They also made me take an online personality test. The final stage was an on-site interview, which involved three rounds of discussions. All in all, there were three main stages to the process.

Recruiting greeted and allowed me to get understand the process. Early in the process I was assigned a "buddy" was familiar with the work and team but was not part of the decision process, allowing me to ask questions and better understand context without fear of implications to receiving an offer. This was a powerful component to the process and what made mt experience stand out. 30 minute cycles through key stakeholders of the position.
