I had one interview that was supposed to be two, but ended up being one 30-minute behavioral one with the whole team of 7 people who asked me questions. They mostly asked about my resume and tech experience.

Got an email about an interview, but the date was fixed for 'Intern Day,' only the time was flexible. Talked to a panel of recruiters first before the behavioral and technical screen, and they seemed pretty uninterested and unfriendly. Then met with an engineer and manager for a mostly behavioral interview with very little technical content.

GDIT's hiring process usually kicks off with a quick call, either phone or video, with a recruiter to see if you're qualified and a good fit. After that, you'll likely have a couple of technical interviews to check your skills and how you solve problems. Then, they'll do a behavioral interview to gauge your teamwork and how you align with their company values. The last step is usually with higher-ups, like senior managers or execs, who'll ask a mix of technical, behavioral, and situational questions to make the final call on whether you're the right person for the job.

The interview process was very straightforward and cut and dry. I felt like I answered the questions well and the interviewer was very professional. The only downside was that the software listed in the job posting wasn't actually what's used in the position, which was a bit of a bummer. I think this specific position might have been highly curated for the contract it was on.
