First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at General Dynamics Information Technology.
Program Analyst
It was a pretty standard interview process. I had a phone call with the hiring manager for the first round. Then, for the second round, I met with her and two other team members over Zoom. They asked mostly typical HR questions. After the interview, they sent me an Excel skills test that I had to finish and send back within an hour. I never heard back after submitting the test, and I found out I didn't get the job from an automated email from the company.
- Could you describe how you would explain a technical concept to someone without prior knowledge of the subject?
Analyst
Got referred by a friend to this company, they gave me the recruiter's email. I sent my resume and followed up after a month. Got a call and interviewed soon after. I followed up with the recruiter weekly for a couple of weeks, and by then I had another offer. I let the recruiter know but it still took them another two weeks to send over the offer letter and package.

Analyst
I had a conversation with the hiring Director. He talked about where the company is headed and what they need for this role. I then shared my background and answered some questions. We also talked about when an offer might be made and he asked if I was looking at other jobs, which I confirmed.
