Applied during Thanksgiving and went through a screening around Christmas. The interview was at the end of January, which felt like a very long time and I was starting to doubt if I was still being considered. The recruiter was nice and always got back to me quickly via email. The interview itself was fine, but it required using the STAR method. Even though the recruiter was responsive, they wouldn't update me on my status unless I asked. I followed up a week after the interview, and the recruiter said the hiring manager was still deciding and would let me know by the end of that week. No communication came. After a few more days, I followed up again and was told they had already hired someone else. It's the lack of basic courtesy that bothers me.

I got a call from an internal recruiter. She screened me for 10 minutes and said she'd share my resume with the manager. I never heard back from her after leaving many voice mails and emails. It was a very disappointing experience, and I won't consider joining them if their candidate experience standards are low.
