So I've interviewed for a few jobs at GDIT over the last decade, and it's always been a bit weird. For this last one, the first interview was good and they set up a second. But like, four minutes into that second interview, they just canceled it, said they had tech issues and would reschedule. About a week later, someone from the process reached out, said they didn't know why GDIT hadn't rescheduled, thought it was weird, hadn't seen that before. Another week and a half later, they did call to reschedule a third interview, so it had been like three weeks since the first one. I interview a lot, and this third one seemed okay, but then they relisted the job. I'm probably not going to apply with GDIT anymore, feels like they don't respect my time with how they schedule things. I'm qualified and usually get jobs elsewhere, but with GDIT, I go through three interviews, spaced way out, and then they never pick me or tell me why. It's like they don't like something about me, but I don't know what.

Worst initial phone screen ever. The interviewer talked over me on the first question, then gave me a long silence after my second answer. When I answered again, they said it wasn't what they were looking for and then told me what they actually wanted, which was completely different from the initial question. After about 20 minutes of this aggravating screen, I almost hung up. Then they told me my listed salary range was too high, which it wasn't - it was too low for the responsibilities and my location. It felt like they just needed to interview someone for HR and already had their hire.

I got an email from a Supervisor about my interest in the position. He set up an interview that covered my technical background. Then, an interview was scheduled with the Program Manager about goals and the program's current and future status. After that, I got an email from HR to schedule an appointment, and I received an offer. It was a straightforward process with nice people.
