I had a video interview on Microsoft Teams in English. They asked me the usual basic questions: - Description of my background and professional experiences. - Why Forvis Mazars and not a big four? - Why Luxembourg? - Why Audit? - Name 2 strengths and 2 weaknesses that my experience (during studies or internship) has revealed? It was an interview that was quite specialized on my specific case; they really asked me questions about my education and experiences precisely. For example, I had 2 internships in the banking sector before, so they asked me why I now want to move into auditing...

The hiring process starts with an initial get-to-know-you chat with HR. It's really relaxed and informal, making you feel comfortable right away. You get feedback pretty quickly, and if it goes well, you move on to the next step. That's a technical chat with the manager of the team you'd be joining. The vibe is chill here too, with specific technical questions directly related to the job.

Had some interviews really quick, one after another. First HR, then two SME interviews. Then a call with the hiring manager. After that, it went totally silent. I tried checking in weekly. It was summer with vacations, but there was pretty much no real response. Finally got told I didn't have enough AI experience, which wasn't mentioned in the job description or interviews. That must have come up later. It's frustrating 'cause they could have brought it up and talked about it more, but oh well. The HR person mostly wanted to text, which I don't like; it should be email for formality and records during hiring.

The interview process involved an initial recruiter call followed by a technical interview. This technical part covered Python, Pandas, and SQL questions. There were also questions about Python and Git knowledge. Finally, I had a motivation interview with several people from the department. It's important to know your basics in NumPy, Pandas, and SQL.
