Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Forvis Mazars Group.
Associate Director
It was a two stage interview process. First, I had a technical round with the partner and director of the business. We talked about my skills, knowledge of the industry and sector, and how I approach business development. Then, there was a culture alignment discussion with HR and leadership.
- How would you go about building this business, what resources would you need, and what do you estimate the opportunity size to be?
- What resources would be required to build this business?
- What is the potential size of this business opportunity?
Associate
Had a good initial interview. Lots of questions about my motivation and background. Overall, the atmosphere was really pleasant. There were 2 conversations. A quick one with HR and another with the manager and a partner. I got feedback in the same week.
- What is your motivation for this job?
Associate
So standard interview process with an assessment, then a video interview, then an assessment day. The assessment day is pretty packed with a group exercise, some numerical tests, and then more interviews with the Partner. The assessments are both numerical and verbal. The group exercise is basically a discussion in front of the managers. The interviews themselves are very structured, like they'll literally write down what you say, and they'll just ask set questions.
- Could you tell us why you're interested in Mazars?
- What makes you a suitable candidate for us to hire?
- Could you walk us through your CV?
