- How will you improve yourself.
Tax Manager
I took a written test where I had to talk about a tough situation and how I handled it. Then, the interviewer asked me to introduce myself while they looked at my resume. After that, they asked me a bunch of questions.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself?
- Could you elaborate on the processes you followed at your prior firm?
- What prompted your departure from your previous role?
Tax Associate
The interview process started with a virtual interview with HR, where we discussed my strengths, weaknesses, and background. Then, there was a second virtual interview with three interviewers from different tax departments. It was pretty casual. I'm giving this a thumbs down though because after the second interview, HR contacted me about another tax position that they thought I might be a better fit for. I agreed to an interview for that role, but then they just went silent. No replies to my emails, no calls, nothing. Super unprofessional!
- What courses are you currently enrolled in for your Master's degree, and what key takeaways have you had so far?
- Could you describe your responsibilities and accomplishments in your previous role?
- Which area within tax are you most interested in specializing in?
