The selection process was intense, well-organized, and structured to test various core competencies for the Transaction Services role. It involved three main stages on the in-person day: A corporate culture test focusing on Forvis Mazars, its integrated network, and market positioning. A technical test on Excel and PowerPoint. An individual interview with line managers to assess technical knowledge.

Applied through their website and was invited for an interview. Upon arrival, met the hiring manager, but HR forgot to mention another person would be present. Had a normal interview first with the manager, then with HR who presented Mazars. Salaries were very low compared to the market. The next interview was with the director. Asked HR for a response by the end of the week as I had other offers. Got contacted the week after saying I was a perfect fit, but the client hadn't signed yet. Following up with HR yielded no response, which was disappointing.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview was very pleasant and friendly. The partners briefly informed me about the interview process, introduced themselves and their careers, and then asked me to do the same. They were interested in me and my ambitions. The questions were adapted to my knowledge level; I was asked to first talk about which modules I had attended, and then questions about accounting and investment/financing topics were asked. Afterward, I was given information about the company, the FAS department, and how the internship is structured.
