Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Forvis Mazars Group.
Graduate Student
The interview process was a bit disorganized. HR told me I was interviewing for one role, but it turned out to be a different one. After the interview, I was ghosted, even though they said they'd give results regardless.
- What are your thoughts on exams versus exemptions?
Graduate Program
The interview process began with an initial screening, followed by a group session with around ten tables set up in the interview lobby. Candidates had the opportunity to interact with each other and with current graduate program employees to gain a deeper understanding of the program. The final stage was a one-on-one interview lasting approximately 30 minutes with a director/manager and a senior team member.
- What motivates your interest in joining Mazars?
Tax Graduate Trainee
After my application was accepted and I passed the online tests, I had an initial chat with someone from the early careers team. Then I went to an assessment center which included a case study, a group exercise, and a repeat of the numerical test. If I passed all that, I had a final interview at their office with a director from the tax global mobility team. For that, I had to give a presentation about a company or industry I'm interested in, and then answer some regular interview questions. They were really nice and quick throughout the whole thing.
