Had an initial phone screen with the recruiter. Then there was a panel interview with 2 hiring managers where I had to do a mock sale. The managers were nice. I knew the pay was lower than my past jobs but I wanted to try something new. They said I did great on the mock sale. But like most companies nowadays, they ghosted me. I bet they were scared I would leave once I found a better paying job, but a follow up email would have been more professional. I emailed the recruiter a bunch of times with no reply.

I interviewed with the Sr Talent Acquisition Manager. He was nice, but talked over me frequently and was just very matter-of-fact. At the end, I asked if anything in my resume or interview prevented me from being the best candidate. He quickly said no. Alas, I did not get a second interview. He also said at the end of the interview that, if the position I was interviewing for wasn't the best fit, they would look at other open positions to see if there was anything that was a good fit. But the email turning me down was just the standard "we're moving on with other candidates who more closely align." Nothing about other positions.

The interview process began with a phone call from a recruiter, who asked about my resume and then moved on to some STAR method questions. I was then recommended for a second interview, which was held over Microsoft Teams with three managers (zone, district, and reporting manager). They all introduced themselves, and I did too. They asked me to elaborate on my resume again, going over my past roles. Then, each manager took turns asking STAR questions. The whole interview lasted an hour and seemed to go well.
