Claims Adjuster
The interview process began with a phone call from a recruiter, who asked about my resume and then moved on to some STAR method questions. I was then recommended for a second interview, which was held over Microsoft Teams with three managers (zone, district, and reporting manager). They all introduced themselves, and I did too. They asked me to elaborate on my resume again, going over my past roles. Then, each manager took turns asking STAR questions. The whole interview lasted an hour and seemed to go well.
- Describe a situation where you dealt with an upset customer and how you fixed it.
- Can you give an example of a time you faced a difficult customer and what steps you took to find a solution?
Claims Adjuster
This was the quickest hiring process EVER. Seriously, praise God! I applied and got an email from a recruiter in just a few hours. About a week later, I had my final interview with two of the hiring managers. I got a call that same day offering me the job! The whole thing took about 2 weeks from applying to getting hired. I'm so ready to join the team, I'm super excited! It's amazing how fast it all worked out, all glory to God!
- Tell me about a time when you had to manage your time.
- Describe a situation where you had to negotiate.
- Can you share an instance of a disagreement you had with a supervisor?
Claims Adjuster
It started with a phone screen with the recruiter, and then I had a virtual interview with two leaders. It was behavior-based questions and took about 30-45 minutes. They left time at the end for my questions. They seemed to appreciate it when I asked industry-specific questions and thanked them. Make sure to get their names and send a follow-up email. They seem to be hiring a lot, but the pay isn't great and the tenure is low.
- Tell me about a time you had too much work to accomplish in a given time frame. How did you deal with this situation and what steps did you take?
