First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CI&T.
Systems Analyst
It was an agile, humanized, and very well-structured process. CI&T's selection process is excellent and stands out for its organization and respect for the candidate. The stages were: Screening: CV analysis (AI). Technical Screening: WhatsApp interview with four technical questions evaluated by the team. HR and Technical: Interview with HR followed by an in-depth technical interview. Language: English tests or interview (depending on the role). Final: Client interview. Pros: Agility: Feedback between stages is very fast, which drastically reduces anxiety. Support: The recruiter was extremely helpful, empathetic, and available to answer questions. Experience: Compared to other companies in the sector, I give it a 10/10. I highly recommend it!
- How do you handle incidents that require rapid resolution?
QA Analyst
The role was for a QA on an international project, only requiring intermediate English. First, there was an AI chat interview, entirely in English, asking about daily tester situations, processes, and decision-making. Then, a video call with HR, also 100% in English, to ensure alignment on both sides before proceeding, focusing on QA concepts. Following that, a video call with the technical team, in Portuguese, covering behavioral, process, and past experience questions. There was also a planned video call with the client for mutual introduction, though I didn't have it. Finally, the offer was sent via email.
- Do you know about the test pyramid concept? What was your biggest challenge and how did you handle it?
- What are your typical daily testing activities? What tools do you use or know?
- Could you explain the concept of test pyramids? What was the biggest challenge you faced and how did you overcome it?
Marketing Manager
I recently went through the selection process and this is my take on it. The whole process was automated, from the initial screening to the audio response stage. There was no human interaction with HR or anyone from the company at any point. I think the audio stage, in particular, could have been handled by a person. This would make the process more human, allow for better exploration of responses, and build more connection with CI&T's culture. The current format, with limited time to respond and AI evaluation only, makes the experience very artificial and lacks transparency. For more strategic roles, this balance between technology and human interaction would make a significant difference. Overall, technology is helpful, but the complete absence of human contact hinders clarity on job expectations and the candidate experience.

Product Designer
The initial stages of the hiring process are handled by AI. First, there's a CV assessment that mainly checks for keyword matches, with a response usually coming within minutes of applying. Next, there's an 'interview' on the DigAí platform. This involves 4-5 questions related to the job requirements, where you have to record and submit your answers (either via web or WhatsApp). I've gone through a few application processes with this company, but I've never gotten past this stage or received detailed feedback about any shortcomings or the reasons for not being selected.
- Could you share an instance where you had to make design choices based on user feedback? What actions did you take, and what were the outcomes?
