First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at CI&T.
QA Analyst
The role was for a QA on an international project, only requiring intermediate English. First, there was an AI chat interview, entirely in English, asking about daily tester situations, processes, and decision-making. Then, a video call with HR, also 100% in English, to ensure alignment on both sides before proceeding, focusing on QA concepts. Following that, a video call with the technical team, in Portuguese, covering behavioral, process, and past experience questions. There was also a planned video call with the client for mutual introduction, though I didn't have it. Finally, the offer was sent via email.
- Do you know about the test pyramid concept? What was your biggest challenge and how did you handle it?
- What are your typical daily testing activities? What tools do you use or know?
- Could you explain the concept of test pyramids? What was the biggest challenge you faced and how did you overcome it?
Senior QA Engineer
The process was quite smooth and organized. First, I answered AI questions via audio on WhatsApp. Then, I had a chat with the recruiter to align expectations and get more details about the role. After that, I had a technical interview focusing on my QA and automation experience; it was a light and objective chat. All stages were clear, with great communication and quick feedback. From application to offer, it took exactly 7 calendar days.
- How do you manage conflicts close to the end of a sprint?
Quality Assurance Engineer
The process was quite lengthy, and in summary, there was zero feedback. They talked a lot about the company, not much technically, and the offers were well below market rate overall. There wasn't much interaction, little objectivity, and it lacked coherence.
- What are your personal goals for the future?
