First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Capco.
AI Engineer
The first interview was mainly about the position and my background. The second one was an online assessment on CodePair, focusing on basic data manipulation and filtering. Then there was a casual behavioral interview. They really want someone who knows how to use AI agents and has hands-on experience with AI APIs. One interview got rescheduled and pushed back about 2 weeks. After the last interview, they ghosted me, even though I tried to follow up, which was the only bad part.

Senior Consultant
The interview process was clearly laid out from the start, with three main parts: first, they looked at my CV, then came a skills interview, and finally, a partner interview. The skills part involved a live task where I had to explain how I'd tackle and solve a problem, which was a good way to show how I think and solve issues. The last interview with the partner was more about my background, why I want this job, and how I handle my work and relationships with colleagues. Things moved along pretty quickly; the first two interviews were set for back-to-back days to speed things up if I did well. When it came to scheduling the final chat, they were really flexible with my personal stuff, giving me time to move house before I finished the last step. All in all, it was a straightforward, fast, and thoughtful process that made for a good experience.

Learning and Development Specialist
I had a good interview process with Capco for the Learning & Development Specialist job. The interviewers were sharp and knew their stuff, and I liked talking to different leaders about how learning helps the business in a consulting setting. I was really into the idea of joining the company. The recruiting folks were cool and helpful. It took longer than I thought to get a final decision though, so maybe they could be clearer on timelines.
- Can you walk me through your previous work history?
- Describe your experience and how it relates to this position.
- What tools and technologies have you utilized in past positions?
Senior Java Developer
HR said there would be 2 technical rounds then a manager and HR round. What actually happened was: after clearing 2 technical rounds, they ghosted me for 10 days, then a new HR took over. Then I had to take 1 test and do 1 more technical round. I cleared both. Then there was a client round. They rescheduled the client round 4 times in 2 weeks. I mean, for such a big company, you'd think they'd have clients available for a candidate who cleared 4 rounds. Also, I noticed a 'Client is God' culture. We can't do anything because it's the client, and we can't say anything because it's the client. So, what about the candidate? Are we just needy random people?
