Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Capco.
Compliance Analyst
I went through about 3-4 rounds of interviews. They asked standard questions about my past experience and some situational questions to check for culture fit. Everyone was very nice during the interviews. After the final round, I was left waiting for almost two months for an update, even though they said they wanted to hire me. The company seemed good otherwise, but I would have preferred a rejection over waiting so long for no response.
- Can you share an example of when you received feedback and how you dealt with it?
Compliance Analyst
First, there was a casual chat with a recruiter about my career goals, the job, and my past experience. Then, I had a 30-45 minute talk with the team lead, which included some competency questions near the end. It was pretty relaxed. The last interview was with a Director, and it was more serious and all about competencies, like my experience, why I want to work at Capco, and my interest in financial services. There might be a client interview after that, depending on the role. Everyone was really nice and professional, and I liked how quick the whole process was from interview to offer. They really wanted to make sure I was a good fit, both in terms of skills and culture.
- Can you tell me about your experience with data analysis and your proficiency in Excel?
Compliance Specialist
The super-day started on Saturday morning. Before we began, the staff chatted with us, which was quite friendly. There was also a brief introduction of Capco. The interview included a written test (30 minutes, common questions & two case studies), an individual interview conducted by two consultants (one junior and one senior, I guess), and a group interview, where we discussed questions not related to any professional field. I want to thank the previous participants who shared their experiences here; the information was very helpful. I hope more candidates get assistance from Glassdoor. Good luck!
