Capco Analyst Interview Questions
& Process

The interview process at Capco was pretty thorough but also quick, and it had three main parts. First, I chatted informally with a recruiter who told me a lot about what it's like to work there and what the job involves. Then, I had a technical interview with a manager who really dug into my past projects and how I approach consulting. The last step was meeting with a director to see if I'd be a good fit for the company culture and talk about my future career goals. They kept in touch really well during the whole thing, and everyone was professional and clear about what was happening. Each interviewer seemed to know what the others had talked about, so I didn't have to repeat myself.

It was a really thorough process, with 4 interviews altogether. I spoke with one Capco Ops Manager, and then three Senior Managers from the client account I'd be joining. My recruiter, Hashim, was super helpful and kept me in the loop the whole time. Even though there were 4 interviews, the whole thing felt fast and went smoothly.

First, I had a phone interview where we went over my resume and background, and I discussed what I knew about Capco and why I liked the company. It was pretty easy. Then, I went to NYC for an in-person interview. I met three people, and we talked about my resume, my knowledge of Capco, and consulting in general. They also asked about the firm's consulting services, its founder, and current president. There were some quick, random questions, like 'if you could be a superhero, who would it be and why?'. After that, there was a team consulting day with two challenges: writing an email and a mock group consulting case. We also had lunch with top executives and other Capco employees. Overall, it was a relaxed experience, and everyone was friendly and welcoming.
