First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Broadridge.
Project Manager
The interview process involved three stages. First, a video interview lasting 30-45 minutes with a senior talent acquisition partner. Second, an interview with two Project Managers from the team. Finally, a concluding interview with the Hiring Director.
- Can you walk me through your background?
- What is your understanding of Broadridge?
- Describe the variety of projects you manage in your current position.
Applications Support Engineer
So the first part was a quick 30-min chat with HR, where they walked me through what the job is all about and how the hiring process works, and we talked about why I'm interested. Then, I had a 45-minute session with the hiring manager, which was more technical and focused on my current role. After that, there was a take-home technical challenge with about 15 questions covering SQL, debugging, C#, and some finance terms like VaR. The final round, lasting about 30 minutes, was with the hiring manager and another team member. Unfortunately, three weeks later, I heard they went with someone else.
- Could you share an instance of a support issue from your current role?
- How do you approach debugging?
- What is Value at Risk (VaR)?
Software Engineer Intern
I applied online and got a referral from campus. First, I had a recruiter call, then a 60-minute technical interview that covered data structures and basic system design. They got back to me quickly with decisions within a week. The interviewers were nice and worked with me, asking questions to understand my answers better and letting me talk through different options. It was a pretty straightforward process with questions that felt like they were from actual projects.
- Questions about the company and general LeetCode medium difficulty problems
Business Analyst
So there were 5 rounds in total. It started with a case study, you know, with an industry-specific use case. Then, I had a round with the hiring team lead where we discussed my views on the use case. After that, I talked to the hiring manager about why I'm a good fit and what skills I bring to the table. Next, there was a fitment discussion with a senior manager where we went over expectations and potential roles and responsibilities. Finally, I had a chat with HR, and then they extended the offer.
- In what ways do you stand out from other Business Analysts for this position?
- Can you share an instance where your contribution was a key differentiator for a project and describe the impact it had on the project's outcome?
