First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Broadridge.
Client Service Associate
I had a recruiter who helped set things up. I went through two interviews. The first one was with my direct manager and someone who'd be doing the same job. The manager wanted to gauge my experience, and the other person explained the job itself. Apparently, they hired someone before who quit after just a few days because they didn't know what they agreed to do. The second interview was with the head of our department and someone from professional services. Both asked detailed questions about my background and what I'd anticipate. I got an offer pretty quickly, within a couple of weeks after my last interview.
- Can you tell me about your strengths?
- What are your weaknesses?
- In what kind of environment do you perform best?
Client Service Representative
It was a 3 step interview process with a really nice and friendly vibe. First, I chatted with the hiring Manager who told me about the company and asked some general questions about the job. Then I had to complete a multi-page test where I compared and checked figures and looked for mistakes. My second meeting was with two senior members of the team, and they asked me both personal and job-related questions. For the final interview, I met with the Director, who was focused on my personality and what I was looking for.
- How would you manage a challenging client?
Client Service Representative
The interview process had 3 stages, all conducted online. First, a chat with a senior team member about the role. Then, an interview with the Director about expectations, team dynamics, and past industry experience. Finally, a meeting with the HR manager to discuss the company, my CV, and any questions I had. The overall experience was good, but the communication was terrible. I only found out I didn't get the job by emailing the recruitment coordinator multiple times, 3 months after applying. Each reply made excuses for the delay and told me to wait "a few more weeks until the Hiring Team make their decision". I wish they hadn't given me false hope and had just told me I was unsuccessful. After 3 interviews, I expected at least an email or call once the decision was made. Instead, I had to find out myself. Such a waste of my time.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a job-related challenge and describe how you handled it?
