Process Analyst
So there were 2 rounds in the interview process. The HR response time can be a bit slow, but it's not that hard, and the questions asked were really basic. If you have a good grasp of financial knowledge, you should be fine.
- Could you start by telling me about yourself?
- What are the fundamental accounting principles?
- Can you explain what a cash flow statement is?
Process Analyst
The first round was a one-on-one with the manager. It was a technical interview and they talked about the night shift and the company. The manager was very friendly. The company seems great, but there is a night shift.
- Can you explain what an IPO is and what you know about this company?
- What do you understand by NFO, call and put options, and accounts, and what about investment banking?
- Could you tell me everything about investment banking and accounts?
Process Analyst
I was contacted by the HR executive for the Process Analyst role. The interview was scheduled at the Mohan Estate office in Delhi. The process involved four stages: an aptitude test, an HR telephonic round, a technical round with the team leader, and a final operational round with the manager. The entire process lasted about 7-8 hours due to the high number of candidates. A few days later, I received a confirmation call. As a fresher, the offered salary was 1.92 LPA, with work hours from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM (UK time). The package included a one-way cab, Sodexo meal coupons worth Rs. 15,000 annually, and E.S.I insurance. The in-hand salary was INR 13,200. Other selected candidates for the same position were offered a CTC of 1.75 LPA. However, upon receiving the offer, I was presented with a 3-year bond valued at Rs. 5,00,000. I ultimately declined the offer due to the excessively high bond value, considering the challenges for a fresher to commit to such a long-term bond.
- Can you explain financial management?
- What is the difference between Equity Shares and Preference Shares?
- Can you differentiate between Debentures and Shares?
