Overall experience was good, but their shortlisting and HR were the worst. I was invited by a consultancy HR partner to interview at the office. I went and spent the whole day going through rounds: 1. Aptitude and SQL MCQ test online. 2. Practical SQL Query test in the office. 3. HR Round. 4. Technical Round. 5. Managerial Round. After all that, they told me to leave and they'd inform the consultancy HR. I followed up with HR, and they kept saying feedback was pending. After waiting 2-3 weeks, I found out I was put on hold, and the company HR said they'd contact me, but they never did.

After applying, a recruiter from the US contacted me about the role's compensation and to confirm my interest. They were offering below market rate, which seemed like a red flag given the required skills for an associate-level position. The recruiter asked if I could come onsite for an interview, and I inquired about remote possibilities, but ultimately attended an in-person interview. Interestingly, the recruiter joined remotely during my onsite interview. I sensed hesitation when I stated my salary expectations, which were only $80k. A week later, I received a rejection email, and the job listing remained active.

Applied via LinkedIn. Had an initial screening call with a recruiter that went well, it was under 10 minutes. Then got a design task via email, with a 3-day deadline. The task was super hard, felt way above a mid-level role, like maybe a senior designer's task. I think with a week I could have done it, but 3 days with all the requirements was just not enough time. Felt like they were looking for a senior person but paying for a mid-level. No wonder the job post was back up. The recruiter was nice though, but they should be clearer about needing someone much more senior.

So first there was this Aptitude-Technical Test covering OOPs, ASP.NET, Java, SQL, and general Aptitude. Then a Pre HR Round where they checked my communication with some intro questions. After that, an L1 Technical Interview focusing on SQL Queries and logical questions. This was followed by an L2 Technical Interview that dove into Advanced SQL and scenario-based questions for real-world applications. Finally, there was the Final HR Interview.

  • What is the GROUP BY Clause and how is it used?
