Account Manager
So there are two rounds to this interview. The first is a standard interview, and then the second round is a presentation that you give to the leads and directors. Since presenting is a key part of the job, this second part really checks if you can handle that.
- Can you tell me about your organizational skills and how you approach task prioritization?
Technical Account Manager
After applying, a recruiter from the US contacted me about the role's compensation and to confirm my interest. They were offering below market rate, which seemed like a red flag given the required skills for an associate-level position. The recruiter asked if I could come onsite for an interview, and I inquired about remote possibilities, but ultimately attended an in-person interview. Interestingly, the recruiter joined remotely during my onsite interview. I sensed hesitation when I stated my salary expectations, which were only $80k. A week later, I received a rejection email, and the job listing remained active.
- What is your motivation for seeking employment with this company?
Account Manager
First, an HR person screened me. Then they set up interviews with a Senior Manager and a Director. I had to create and present a short slideshow about a topic I chose.
- Can you share your client-facing experience?
- How do you think your background applies to this role?
