There was a phone interview for about 10–15 minutes to check my English speaking skills. Then, a technical test was given in the second round with four parts: accounting, logic questions, email writing, and basic SQL. The last round would be with the manager.

The interview started with a discussion based on my resume. They wanted to go over my experience, asking me to talk about my past roles, projects, and responsibilities, and how they fit what the company needs. They also asked me to point out skills I have, like problem-solving or technical skills, to show how I could help the company. Since it was about my career, they probably asked about tough situations I faced and how I dealt with them, and what the results were. This could have included talking about projects I led or worked on, and I likely had to give examples of what I achieved, like numbers for growth or improvements, and how I got those results.

The hiring process basically had three rounds. Aptitude test, then a technical test, and finally a technical round. We were shortlisted till the technical round. Then the HR communicated that all three of us weren't selected because they required in-depth knowledge of accounting, which wasn't mentioned in the job description nor related to the job responsibilities. We were only asked one question related to accounting. A candidate is ready to accept rejection, but at least share the right feedback.
