The whole experience was great and professional. It took about a month from applying. They'll call you if they like your resume to do a recruiter screen to get more info on your background and experience, then they send it to the hiring manager. If the manager likes you, you'll do more interviews, and each one is a test to see if you move on. You'll meet the hiring manager/director and some team members. They'll make an offer if you do well in all the interviews, then a background check, and then you get a start date.

I had a phone interview over Microsoft Teams. The recruiter was at Starbucks and her internet cut out mid-call. It was a basic "get to know you" type of first interview where they ask about your background and what made you apply to this position.

Interviews were really personalized and felt genuine, not like they were reading from a script. They asked smart, thought-provoking questions specific to the role and made me feel comfortable. It was a really nice touch that the President of Notified, Ben Chodor, was so warm and welcoming during our chat. The recruiter and team were super responsive and tried to speed things up, which was great. If there was one thing to improve, it's the overall time from the first chat to the start date. The interviews were very thorough and multi-step, with extra things that could potentially push back the timeline.

Got referred by a friend. Started with a recruiter call to chat about the role and salary. Then, I had to take two tests: a logic test and a personality assessment. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager for about an hour. It was a pretty chill chat about the job, the company, why they need a PM, and how the team is set up. They mostly wanted to know about me and my personality, not so much about my specific skills – like a vibe check to see if we'd click. Finally, I had a chat with higher management where they asked me some skill-based questions, about my past experiences and hypothetical scenarios. Then HR called with the offer!

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • The manager asked more personal questions about me, my hobbies, and personality.
  • Higher management asked skill-based questions about my CV, previous experiences, and scenarios, like 'What would you do if a client pushed back for a large change at the last minute before the event?'
