Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at West Technology Group.
Technical Support Representative
First, I had to take a language assessment. After passing that, they scheduled my initial interview for the next day at 8am. Then, I had to do an online registration for my basic info. The HR person said the interview was at 11am, but my interview started after 12pm, and my companion's interview, which was supposed to be at 11:30am, was delayed to 1:30pm because the interviewer left for a meeting. The interview was informal, and the HR person asked about 5 questions. She offered me a position at another site, but I declined. She then said the technical support position I applied for was no longer available, but she would call me if something opened up. However, the person interviewed after me was offered the exact position I wanted and was even given salary details. It was a terrible experience, especially seeing other HR people still conducting interviews.

So I sent in my resume and then got a call for an initial interview. After that, there was a second and then a final interview. They told me I passed but they'd let me know the results either way.
- Can you discuss your past work experiences?
- Could you share an example of a work-related scenario and how you managed it?
Technical Support Engineer
I had a phone call with HR, and since I was referred by someone, I quickly had a 1 on 1 with my future supervisor.
