First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at West Technology Group.
Sales Associate
First, I got a call from HR to set up a phone interview. On the day, someone called me a bit early, just confirmed my name and address, and scheduled an in-person interview. Then, someone else called again at the right time to do the same thing, not realizing I'd already been contacted. The in-person interview involved meeting a team lead, then sitting with a current employee to discuss their daily tasks and current projects. After that, a second team lead conducted another interview round, asking general questions. They mentioned they would follow up. Both team leads were very friendly.
- What is your past experience like?
- Can you answer some general screening questions?
Sales Associate
I went to an open interview, and the vibe was really chill. They asked me about phone sales stuff. I didn't have a ton of experience to give the best answers, but when I asked the interviewer what the right way to handle something would be, they helped me out. It was a good chat, lasted about 45 minutes, and I got the job right then and there.
- Can you describe a situation where you had to handle an angry customer?
Sales Associate
I went through all the typical questions you'd expect. I had to prove my sales skills by selling a pen. They also asked about all my work experience. The interviewer was really nice and friendly. It was helpful to be very descriptive with my answers.
- Can you demonstrate how you would sell this pen?
- Tell me about your previous work experiences.
- Walk me through your work history.
