Cost Analyst
So the hiring process starts with you sending in your application, then we do a quick screening to see if you're a good fit. After that, there's usually one or more interviews where we ask some structured questions. You might have to do some technical tests or behavioral exercises. We're looking at your skills, what you've done before, and if you'll fit in with the team. Then we check your references, and if all goes well, we make an offer. If you accept, we'll get you started with onboarding.

Recruitment Coordinator
The interview had 3 stages. First, a 15-minute phone call. Second, a 1-hour in-person competency-based interview with 2 panelists. Third, a 30-minute in-person culture fit interview with 2 people from the HR PM team. They made it a confusing guessing game, wanting to catch candidates off guard. It felt like a tactic for crisis management roles, not this one. It would be better if they were clear and explicit about the discussion scope, as experienced candidates won't waste time on ambiguous interviews. They also didn't provide any outcome or feedback after the 3 rounds, which is basic professional courtesy.
- What's your strategic approach for managing senior stakeholders?
- Describe how you'd push back effectively if you disagreed with leadership's direction.
Project Manager
I applied for a project manager job in the T&D sector. The description had requirements I didn't meet but also mentioned they'd be interested if you had experience in five specialist areas like SCADA systems. Since I have strong SCADA engineering and estimating experience, they offered me an interview. I was interviewed by two project managers (around 30-35 years old), one Associate Director and the other an Associate. Neither of them worked in T&D, so they interviewed me as a general project manager, not someone with SCADA skills. When I asked about the team I'd be joining, one said they didn't know anyone, and the other senior person mentioned knowing the Director of the whole business unit and said she seemed bubbly. The questions weren't too hard and were general interview questions. I'm not surprised I didn't get the job, maybe I dodged a bullet.

Infrastructure Asset Management Consultant
I wouldn't recommend this process unless you're applying for your absolute dream job. It's honestly the worst and most invasive application experience I've ever had, and this is just the initial assessment part. You're required to record your face, your voice, and allow the assessment platform to record your screen while answering some basic logic and numerical questions. It feels like they must be making a fortune selling off your data! The assessment instructions explicitly state you cannot look away from the screen at all, which is completely unreasonable given how long the assessment is. Looking away even for a moment triggers a warning for potential cheating, and this warning can even cover part of the question itself. The system is buggy though and flags these warnings even when you're looking directly at the screen. Even breathing too loudly will get you warned for making noise, which they interpret as a sign of collusion! And the screen recording is just the final, ridiculous touch. It's a totally absurd and unnecessary process from a company that clearly doesn't grasp how frustrating the graduate job market is. Proceed with applying at your own risk...
- Questions about logic and numbers, which were direct.
