I had to prepare a presentation that was emailed on Wednesday for the following Tuesday. On Thursday, I realized I was sent the wrong attachment for my presentation, so I emailed T&T immediately. However, I didn't get the correct documents (including the list of competencies) until late Friday afternoon. This significantly reduced my prep time, making it very difficult to prepare for a 10-minute research presentation and an hour-long presentation within less than a week, especially while working full-time. I believe it would have been fairer if everyone had more time to prepare. The interviewers were great and made me feel comfortable, responding insightfully to my answers. We also had to do a 5-minute pitch to an imaginary board of directors during the interview, which was challenging but an interesting test. Overall, I wish I had more time to prepare, especially given the error that led to me receiving the wrong presentation information. I think my lack of construction industry knowledge affected my performance, which isn't surprising.

I applied online with a short application and quickly got a link for a video interview. About two and a half weeks later, I got an invite to an assessment center. They gave me one week to prepare: 1. Prepare a presentation on a T&T project. 2. Group exercise. 3. Individual Interview. The interviewers were all super friendly and helpful. They asked a mix of competency-based questions and construction-related questions, so you should definitely know about industry trends and issues.
