Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had an interview with the team lead, where we discussed practical aspects of global transactional legal matters. We also talked about the pragmatic approach and how it differs from a law firm's approach. They were keen to know about my interest in the industry and my understanding of the different divisions.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The hiring process was pretty simple, involving a mix of personal and behavioral interviews. We started with typical icebreakers like 'tell me about yourself.' This was followed by questions designed to understand my motivation for joining, like 'why do you want to work here,' and self-assessment questions like 'what are your strengths and weaknesses' and 'what value would you bring to the company.' They also asked questions to gauge cultural fit.

It started with an assessment test on the AssessFirst website, which included logic and pattern tests. Then there was a meeting with HR where we discussed classic fit questions, and the HR person gave me feedback on the assessment test. After that, I had a technical meeting with the team, focusing on data cleaning and collection using pandas with Python in a Jupyter notebook. Following that, I had a technical meeting with the hiring manager about financial ratios, market surveillance, and strategy benchmarking. Finally, there was a quick chat with the senior manager to see if I'd be a good fit.
