A recruiter reached out to me and gave me a good rundown of what they were looking for so I could get ready. Then I chatted with the head of the Facility and the head of the Data team, and they decided to hire me.

Technical Behavioral

I had three interviews, two of them were technical. The second technical interview was a mess: both interviewers were late and kept cutting each other off. One would ask a question, and the other would jump in with a different one, seemingly unrelated. They asked really general questions, sometimes out of the blue, stuff you can easily find online or in a textbook – like the formula for a ReLU function. That kind of question is more for a school test than a job interview. It would have been better to discuss past experiences or real-world cases, unless something like 'ReLU' was specifically on my resume, which it wasn't. The interview really lacked structure, preparation, and professionalism. It felt like an immature and disorganized process.
