Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TotalEnergies.
Financial Analyst
The interview questions were focused on the job, the process was clear and the interviewer was friendly. It's important to know the company and its various divisions well so you don't get lost. The interview led to an internship position.
- Why did you apply to TotalEnergies?
Commercial Analyst
I applied online and had my first stage as a video interview. The second stage was at their office at 8:30am. Getting into the office was a bit of a hassle with security, they didn't seem to have my name down but I eventually got a pass. They didn't reimburse commuting expenses, and I'm not sure why I had to go in person. Some of the questions felt too personal. They suddenly asked me to do a presentation during the interview, where they presented a business case. I got a call the next day saying I wasn't getting the job.
- Can you tell me what you know about our business?
Economist
Submitted an online application, had a first chat with HR, and then an interview with the hiring Manager. Interactions were good all the way through. They gave a clear timeline. Overall, it was a positive experience. They really focused on energy transition, personality, and how well I'd fit with the team.
- What are TotalEnergies' goals in renewable energy?
