Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at TotalEnergies.
Accountant
It was a 3 step interview process. First, I had an interview with Recruiter representatives to build an eligibility profile. Second, I interviewed with line managers to understand my background, technical knowledge, and to demonstrate my strengths and weaknesses and my reception to change. Third, the interview with the Head of department was mainly to verify my professionalism level.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
Accountant
The interview process usually has a few steps, like a quick phone call first, then a test of your skills, and then maybe some interviews in person. It's all about seeing if you've got what it takes, if you've done this kind of work before, and if you'd be a good fit for the company. It's also your chance to find out more about the job and the company. Make sure you're ready and act professional, both you and the person interviewing you.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses, and what your future goals are?
Accountant
It was a simple and straightforward interview process, not heavy on technical questions. It felt more like a getting-to-know-you session. By the end, the interviewer seemed to have already decided on their preferred candidate and even suggested a different role for me to consider.
- Can you tell me about your interests and what you are capable of?
