I had my first interview using HireVue. I wanted to get the deadline extended because I was traveling, but I couldn't find anyone to contact. Eventually, I managed to extend it. There were 6 questions, and I had 3 tries for each. About two weeks later, I was invited for an in-person interview with 3 people, one of whom was from HR. They gave me an answer a few days after that. The entire experience was really smooth and simple. It took 2 months from when I first applied to when I got the offer.

The interview process kicked off with an online assessment using Hirevue, followed by a recruiter call. Then there was a take-home assessment where I had to analyze a large dataset about their bus operations, clean it up, find insights, and prepare presentation slides, which were due 24 hours before the next meeting. The final stage was an in-person meeting to present my findings to the hiring manager, recruiter, and another team member.

It was a streamlined process that took a few months but was well organized. We started with 5 Hirevue video interviews that had standard questions. Then there was an online test to check my analytic skills with puzzles and patterns. This was followed by a panel interview where I had to give a case-study presentation to 4 panel members. The case-study was difficult and definitely prepared by some smart individual. I had a good time preparing for it and everything went smooth. Although I was hopeful for an offer after the panel interview, I believe someone else was a better fit than me. All good!
