First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at The Emirates Group.
Sales Executive
Applied through the Emirates website. Shortlisted candidates were contacted via email for interviews. There were 2 interviews. The first interview involved being given 3 questions and some time to prepare. A presentation was created on the spot and presented during the interview. If shortlisted again, candidates were contacted via email for the second interview, which was with higher management for their review and approval.
- What are your ideas for enhancing the current product?
- How would you approach positioning our product in relation to its price point?
Sales Executive
It started with a Skype call, then we had a panel interview at Emirates HQ in Dubai. There were also some tests for communication and presentation skills. They wanted to see if I had problem-solving skills and could get things done on a tight schedule. The panel included HR, heads of departments, and a psychologist. They asked a bunch of questions about my personality, how much I know about the job, my goals, my work habits, and my future plans.
- Could you introduce yourself and explain how you would contribute to this role if selected?
- Can you tell us about your personality?
- What is your level of job knowledge?
Account Executive
The interview process was great, with a skilled HR person. There were 3 people involved. First, an informal meeting, then a meeting with the 3 people, and a test on how to sell EK.
- Can you tell me about your biggest achievement?
- How would you approach selling EK?
