The interview process involved a recruiter call where I was asked about my motivation for joining the company, my past experiences, what I like about the company, my familiarity with their products and business, and if I've visited their store.

It was an in-person interview at the office. I was asked a few questions about customer service by a single interviewer. The whole thing was pretty quick, and she was a very nice person. She told me about her experiences and also gave me some insights into the challenges of working in retail.

It was a 4 round process, 3 rounds with the marketing team and then a final round with HR. The last round with HR was a bit unexpected as I thought I had already made it through. It seemed like they were mainly confirming my resume and legitimacy. The HR person also asked about my salary expectations, which might have been the sole purpose of the fourth round. All three initial rounds were quite relaxed; just be sure to come prepared with your research.

I was ghosted and then rejected in early Jan, AFTER the Christmas period without the courtesy of someone getting back to me. Please stop treating people like an afterthought. The way companies reject applicants says more about a company than how people are accepted. Get back to people on time, sign off your emails with an actual person, and be clear when people can expect a response. Job searching is a difficult task and has become more difficult during the span of the pandemic therefore treating applicants in this way (especially over the Christmas period) where people may be struggling is abhorrent. I found the article "No resume? No reference? No worries!" a farce after this treatment and implore you to revise your processes. You claim to want to give people a go, to provide opportunity yet you won't even provide the respect of getting back to people in a reasonable time frame. Please revise how you recruit new applicants. Thank you.
